Community
Uriarra Rural Village will be the ACT’s first community title development, building on the strong sense of community that already exists within the village. The Community Title scheme will enable the community to manage the way in which their village functions and develops over time. Uriarra Rural Village will be a sustainable development. Community areas will be landscaped using native plants to encourage wildlife to return to the area.
Uriarra Rural Village will include the following community facilities:
- Village green
- Community hall and community centre
- Playground
- Half basketball court
- Tennis court
- Swimming pool
- Rural fire brigade facility
- Horse agistment paddocks
- 235m wide fire buffer zone
- Roads and infrastructure within the Village
