Community
Uriarra Rural Village will be the ACT’s first community title development, building on the strong sense of community that already exists within the village. The Community Title scheme will enable the community to manage the way in which their village functions and develops over time. Uriarra Rural Village will be a sustainable development. Community areas will be landscaped using native plants to encourage wildlife to return to the area.
Uriarra Rural Village includes the following community facilities:
- Tennis courts
- Swimming pool
- Community centre
- Playground
- Half basketball court
- Rural fire brigade facility
- Horse agistment paddocks
- 235m wide fire buffer zone
The community facilities are maintained through a Community Title levy of $1400 p.a.
